Chris joined the GRDD Law team in 2007 and heads up the firm’s transactional division. His practice focuses on the representation of small businesses and commercial landlords. Chris provides general business counsel to companies across a wide range of industries, helping business owners with start-ups, buying and selling businesses, contracts, leases, partnership agreements, employment agreements, business break-ups, and other business-related legal projects. Chris also represents commercial landlords and tenants with respect to leasing transactions and lease enforcement. Chris takes great pleasure in helping business owners establish their enterprises and navigate the many legal hurdles of business ownership. He has represented several start-up companies from inception through sale, handling a wide range of projects in between.

Chris has represented buyers and sellers of small and medium size businesses in sale transactions as large as $35M. Businesses represented include restaurants, medical and dental practices, moving companies, cleaning companies, construction firms, auto shops, IT firms, and many other service providers.

Chris regularly represents commercial landlords and tenants in the negotiation and enforcement of office, industrial, and restaurant leases, including leases that generate more than $1M in annual rental income.
